Principles of Assertion Evidence

Problem: PowerPoint's defaults are weak
​Principle: 1: Build your talk on messages, not topics
Assumption: Use slides only when they serve the talk
Principle 2: Support messages with visual evidence
Principle 3: Practice so that you can fashion sentences on the spot
Structure: Orient the audience at the start, arrange the content in a logical way, and summarize at the end
